VETERANS OF UNDERAGE MILITARY SERVICE (VUMS) seeking veterans who joined the military, legally too young to do so. VUMS, incorporated in 1991, has enjoyed strong growth. Members receive six newsletters annually and are invited to an annual reunion. All branches of the military have assured us in writing that no one will be prosecuted for falsifying his age. Some members enlisted as young as 12-13 years of age, and one was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor one week after his 17th birthday.
